Singapore Ballet and Alliance Française Singapour co-presents Danses de Rêve as part of the vOilah! France Singapore Festival 2026 programme lineup.
Supported by the Embassy of France in Singapore, vOilah! is the annual French festival celebrating the creativity and innovation of French artists, scientists, and cultural thinkers in Singapore.
For this year’s show, Singapore Ballet is proud to make its festival debut with Danses de Rêve, an evening that brings together newly created works and beautifully curated pieces from our repertoire. This presentation builds on our ongoing collaboration with Alliance Française Singapour, which began in 2021.
The evening features a new creation by French-born choreographer Claire Voss, whose career spans more than two decades across Europe and Asia. Étienne Ferrère, former Principal dancer with Singapore Ballet, also returns with Singular, now restaged for a larger audience on a grander stage.
In addition, Singapore Ballet will showcase several gems from its repertoire including excerpts from:
• Configurations Pas de Deux by Choo San Goh — last staged at the Esplanade Theatre in 2024
• Piano Concerto No. 2, Opus 102 Pas de Deux by Edmund Stripe — created especially for the company and last performed at Ballet Under The Stars in 2025
• Cinderella Pas de Deux by Janek Schergen — which concluded Singapore Ballet’s 2025 season at the Esplanade Theatre to a sold-out audience.
Uniting original creations, celebrated works, and exceptional artistry, Danses de Rêve promises an unforgettable evening of dance — one not to be missed.
