Ambassadors Circle
The Ambassadors Circle is a specially designed group for members who have a passion for dance and wish to contribute to Singapore Ballet. All contributions made towards the Ambassadors Circle are directed towards the acquisition of new works as it seeks to develop the artistic strength of Singapore Ballet by:
- Enhancing the company’s repertoire
- Enriching the experience for audiences through diversity and depth of works presented
- Elevating and nurturing dancers through exquisite repertoire
- Establishing itself as a world-class premier ballet company in the local and international dance scene
Through the steady support of the Ambassadors Circle, Singapore Ballet has acquired 16 new works (6 world premieres and 10 company premiere) since 2009. The development of the artistic strength of the Company is a key endeavour of Singapore Ballet, and the Ambassadors Circle has been an important pillar for this mission.

Singapore Ballet wishes to thank everyone who contributed towards Ambassadors Circle 2024 which went towards the creation of Kinsun Chan’s Rite of Spring and premiered at the Singapore Ballet Festival in July 2024.

Orchestra Fund
Since 2018, Singapore Ballet and Metropolitan Festival Orchestra (MFO) have been in a partnership to jointly perform iconic full-length classical works as part of Singapore Ballet’s annual seasons.
Over the past three decades, Singapore Ballet has garnered international acclaim for the high quality and versatility of its performances. It has now reached a stage in its artistic development where incorporating a professional orchestra into its full-length classical productions will position itself as a home-grown dance company of international standards.
As Singapore’s first and only fully-independent professional symphony orchestra, MFO was founded to be a platform to showcase the growing pool of professional orchestral musicians in Singapore, mobilising them in innovative and sustainable ways that open up new performance opportunities across a range of both traditional and non-traditional genres and formats.
MAKE MUSIC WITH US
We believe that live music elevates and enhances your experience in watching a ballet. From the percussive rhythms to the mellow brass, there’s so much depth and nuance that’s found in a live orchestra, and we are very excited to share this with you at our performances.
Any production of this scale is only made possible through the support of many. We are very grateful to everyone who has helped us bring live music to our full-length classical ballets. Your support is crucial to sustaining this ground-breaking endeavour.

Thank you for your support!
Singapore Ballet would like to thank all donors who have supported the company through the Ambassadors Circle, Orchestra Fund and the Artistic Director’s Fund. Thanks to your loyal support over the years, we staged 50 world premieres, 22 company premieres, and numerous revivals of the gems in the company’s existing repertoire. We also embarked on eight collaborations with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, delighting audiences with live music for our full-length ballets. As we fold these funds into the new Artistic Development Fund, we look forward to your continued support in 2025 and beyond.
