Arts Education Programme

What is Arts Education Programmes (AEP)?

The Arts Education Programme (AEP) is an initiative by Singapore Ballet aimed at fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for ballet among students and the wider community. As part of the National Arts Council’s (NAC) initiative, AEP is designed to introduce students to the beauty and discipline of ballet through engaging and interactive workshops, performances, and talks.

Through AEP, Singapore Ballet brings professional ballet performances directly to schools, allowing students to experience the elegance and athleticism of this timeless art form. The program also offers behind-the-scenes insights into the world of ballet, including the rigorous training and dedication required to become a professional dancer.

AEP is ideal for schools looking to enrich their arts education curriculum, as it aligns with the NAC’s goal of making the arts accessible and integral to the holistic development of students. Whether it’s through attending a ballet performance or participating in hands-on workshops, AEP inspires creativity, cultivates artistic appreciation, and encourages a lifelong engagement with the arts.
