Ballet for School
As part of our mission to inspire and delight audiences through world-class ballet, we offer school programmes like the Art Education Programme (AEP) and Singapore Ballet Tour as part of the National Arts Council’s (NAC) initiative. These initiatives introduce students to the beauty and discipline of ballet through engaging workshops and performances, while nurturing future dance talents and encouraging a deeper appreciation for the arts.
These programmes qualifies for the Tote Board Arts Grant Subsidy.
Arts Education Programme
Our Arts Education Programme (AEP) aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of ballet among students and the wider community by bringing professional ballet performances directly to schools. AEP provides students with firsthand experience of the art form, including behind-the-scenes insights into the training and discipline required of dancers. AEP enriches the school curriculum and aims to inspire a lifelong interest in the arts.
Singapore Ballet Tour
Singapore Ballet Tour offers a unique opportunity to step into the world of professional ballet. Gain an exclusive access to daily rehearsal sessions, take a peek into our costumes and wardrobe and set designs, and learn how a production comes to life behind the scenes. Experience firsthand the artistry and dedication that happens behind the curtain.
Public Arts Programme
All our main season performances are part of the Public Arts Programme and are eligible for subsidies under the Tote Board Arts Grant. Schools may purchase tickets directly from us, and then claim the purchase of tickets under the Tote Board Arts Grant. These performances offer students valuable learning experiences in professional arts venues, supporting NAC’s goal of deepening arts appreciation beyond the classroom.
One @ the ballet
One @ the Ballet is a monthly showcase held in Singapore Ballet’s Founders’ Studio designed to introduce ballet in a casual and intimate setting without the formalities of the theatre. This program also qualifiesfor subsidies under the Tote Board Arts Grant

We warmly invite dance practitioners, educators, and organisations to reach out and explore opportunities to utilise our studio. In addition to providing a professional venue, we offer exclusive access to the inner workings of a world-class dance company, including rehearsal viewings, insightful introductions, and sharings by industry experts—among them our Artistic Director, Janek Schergen.
