Ballet Under the Stars
Ballet Under the Stars is the perfect event for families, dance lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy a spectacular performance in a relaxed picnic-style setting. Singapore Ballet will enchant audiences with two weekends of ballet highlights, featuring the timeless classical beauty of Paquita, the signature brilliance of Choo-San Goh’s Momentum and Double Contrasts, and stunning contemporary works such as Piano Concerto No. 2 Opus 102 by Edmund Stripe, Blue Snow by Toru Shimazaki, and Incomparable Beauty by Ma Cong. Join us for a magical evening of world-class ballet under the stars—an unforgettable experience for all!

You can get here by MRT or bus.
Nearest MRT: Dhoby Ghaut (9 mins walk). Bencoolen MRT (10 mins walk)
Nearest Bus stop: Stamford CT (9 mins walk)
Parking is available at Fort Canning Park with Carpark A being the nearest to the event venue, standard parking rate applies. Alternative parking are available at Carpark C and Carpark B, as well as adjacent buildings like YWCA, UBS, and the Yung Pung How Law Library at SMU.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Q: Is there a minimum age?
A: All ages are welcome. Children aged 4 and above will need a ticket. Children 3 and under enjoy free entry.
Q: Are food and drinks allowed?
A: Yes. Food vendors such as Old Chang Kee and ice cream cart are also available!
Q: In case of bad weather, could you share the wet-weather programme?
A: The performance is a rain-or-shine event and the performance it will proceed as scheduled. In the event of lightning and thunder, Singapore Ballet reserves the right to cancel the event for the safety of all guests, performers and team members. Final announcements will be made on-site.
Q: Can I take photos or videos?
A: No photography, video or audio recordings are allowed during the performance.
Q: Is this a free seating event?
A: Yes.
Q: Do vendors accept cash?
A: All on-site vendors are contactless only, so no cash will be accepted.

Q: Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?
A: The venue is partially accessible, but do note that the ground is grassy and uneven in some areas.
Wheelchair users will be seated towards the back to ensure clear viewlines for everyone.
