PALOMA HENDRY-HODSDON
Paloma was born in Sydney, Australia and started dancing at 2 years old. At 8 years old she was accepted into The Australian Ballet School and that year she led the school on stage at the State Theatre and she continued training at ABS and Queensland Ballet Academy. In 2017, Paloma was a finalist in the Robert & Elizabeth Albert Junior Classical Ballet Scholarship. Since Paloma was 12 years old she has also worked with The Wiggles. In 2019 Paloma qualified for The RAD Genee International Ballet Competition in Toronto where she won the Silver Medal.
During the Covid years she continued to work with The Wiggles and Paloma also achieved The Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. Paloma joined The Singapore Ballet Company as an Apprentice in January 2023 performing in Don Quixote, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Ballet Under The Stars – The Nutcracker and Swan Lake and Janek Schergen’s Cinderella.
In 2024, Paloma was honored to perform The White Cat in The Sleeping Beauty, Fives for Singapore Ballet Festival Gala Night, A celebration of Choo-San Goh’s Legacy, In The Glow of the Night by Choo-San Goh for Ballet Under The Stars and also Don Quixote and Cinderella and one of the Cygnets in Swan Lake. And 2025, Paloma performed Romeo and Juliet and Choo-San Goh Double Contrasts, Fives, Janek Schergen’s Cinderella and The Bistro by Timonthy Harbour was a highlight. Paloma was promoted to Artist in January 2024.
