Through the steady support of the Ambassadors Circle, Singapore Ballet has acquired 16 new works (6 world premieres and 10 company premiere) since 2009. The development of the artistic strength and depth of the Company is one of the key endeavours of Singapore Ballet, and the Ambassadors Circle has become established as one of the most important supporting pillars of this mission.
Ambassadors Circle is a specially designed group for members who have a passion for dance and a desire to contribute to Singapore Ballet. All contributions made towards the Ambassadors Circle are directed towards the acquisition of new works as it seeks to develop the artistic strength of Singapore Ballet by:
- Enhancing the company’s repertoire
- Enriching the experience for audiences through diversity and depth of works presented
- Elevating and nurturing dancers through relevant and exquisite repertoire
- Establishing itself as a world-class premier ballet company in the local and international dance scene
Ambassadors Circle 2024
The Ambassadors Circle 2024 will be directed towards the acquisition of our brand new ballet, Rite of Spring by KinSun Chan, which will be performed in July 2023 at the Esplanade Theatre.
