PALOMA HENDRY-HODSDON
Artist
Paloma was born in Sydney, Australia and started dancing at 2 years old. At 8 years old she was accepted into The Australian Ballet School, level 1 and that year she led the school on stage at the State Theatre and she continued training at ABS and Queensland Ballet Academy. Over the years she danced as a child extra in The Australian Ballet’s Graeme Murphy’s Swan Lake, she was the face of World Tutu Day and opened The Australian Ballet’s 50th Anniversary Gala.
In 2017, Paloma was a finalist in the Robert & Elizabeth Albert Junior Classical Ballet Scholarship. In 2019 Paloma qualified for The Royal Academy of Dance Genee International Ballet Competition in Toronto now (The Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition) where she won the Silver Medal.
Since Paloma was 12 years old she has also worked with The Wiggles on many live arena concerts, DVDs, TV series and touring the world with them. During the Covid years she continued to work with The Wiggles becoming the new character “Paloma The Mermaid” which she loved giving back to all the young children and families and also achieving the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Training.
Paloma joined Singapore Ballet as an apprentice in January 2023 and was promoted to Artist in January 2024.
