Audrey King

Born in Dallas, Texas, Audrey King began her classical training at Ballet Academy of Texas under the direction of Lisa Slagle, Allan Kinzie, and Thom Clower. Alongside her year-round training, Audrey attended summer intensive programmes receiving scholarships from San Francisco Ballet School and American Ballet Theatre in New York City, among other notable schools. She competed in the Youth America Grand Prix for several years, and placed in the top twelve for her classical variations on numerous occasions.

In 2019, Audrey moved to Denver, Colorado to train in the Pre-Professional Division at Colorado Ballet, where she had the opportunity to perform Corps de Ballet roles with the main company. Following her time at Colorado Ballet, she worked with George Birkadze and Ashley Ellis and performed Gamzatti in La Bayadere. 

Audrey began her professional career in 2022 at Ballet Pensacola in Florida as a Corps de Ballet dancer. She was promoted to Leading Artist the following season. 

During her studies, Audrey performed featured roles including, Aurora (The Sleeping Beauty), Third Theme Pas de Deux (Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments), Sugar Plum Fairy (The Nutcracker), Cygnets (Swan Lake), and Flower Festival in Genzano Pas de Deux. Some of the repertoire Audrey performed with Ballet Pensacola includes, Cinderella (Cinderella), Mercedes (Don Quixote), Lilac Fairy (The Sleeping Beauty), and Dewdrop Fairy (The Nutcracker).

Audrey joined Singapore Ballet as an Artist in January 2026.
