REO MIZUNO
Artist
Reo was born in Japan, began his dance training under Long Zhao former principal with the American Repertory Ballet and at Aree School of Dance Arts in Thailand. In 2012 he joined Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto, under the directorship of Mavis Staines. He has also attended summer intensives and exchanges with American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, John Cranko Schule and Oklahoma City Ballet. After graduating from the school in 2016, he spent another year in the Post-Secondary Program at Canada’s National Ballet School. During his time at Canada’s National Ballet School, he has performed in Aszure Barton’s Come In, John Neumier’s Yondering, Robert Binet’s Surge and Serge Lifar’s Suite en Blanc.
Reo joined Singapore Dance Theatre as an Apprentice in January 2018 and was promoted to Artist in January 2019. He has performed in Peter & Blue’s Birthday Party, The Nutcracker, Kitri’s Wedding in Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and most recently, Romeo and Juliet (2020).
