MA XIAOYU
Artist

Xiaoyu was born in Jinan, China. She trained at the Liaoning Ballet school, affiliated to Liaoning Ballet of China from 2006 to 2013, After her graduation, She was awarded a scholarship by the Singapore Ministry of Education to continue her studies with a Diploma in Dance at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. Upon graduation in 2016, she joined the Singapore Dance Theatre Scholars Programme.

Xiaoyu joined Singapore Dance Theatre as a trainee in January 2018 and was promoted to apprentice in September 2018. She has performed in The Nutcracker, Coppélia, The Four Temperaments, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Serenade, Don Quixote, Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet. Xiaoyu was promoted to Artist in January 2022.
